Digestive Health Support

Digestive Health Support
Gentle, holistic care for gut symptoms such as IBS, SIBO, bloating, food sensitivities, reflux or general digestive imbalance.
When your gut feels good, your whole body thrives.
Digestive health plays a major role in mood, hormones, energy, immunity and overall wellbeing. When the gut isn’t functioning well, many people experience symptoms such as bloating, discomfort, bowel changes, nausea, reflux, food reactivity or simply feeling “off” after eating.
I support people experiencing IBS, SIBO, IMO, microbiome imbalance, stress-related gut issues, post-infection gut changes, histamine-type symptoms, constipation or diarrhoea — whether their tests so far have been “normal” or not.
My role is to gently explore what your gut may be communicating. This includes looking at digestion, nutrition, stress and nervous system patterns, mineral balance, microbial health, and your lived experience — never symptoms alone.
Care is realistic, respectful and personalised — at a pace that feels manageable.

Functional Testing for Gut Health
Sometimes functional testing — such as microbiome analysis, SIBO breath testing or Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) — helps us better understand what is driving your digestive symptoms. For example, microbiome testing is often recommended and I've added in some extra information below.
Microbiome Testing for Digestive Issues
Microbiome testing can be particularly helpful if you experience:
• constipation or sluggish bowels
• IBS-type symptoms
• bloating or abdominal discomfort
• food reactions or sensitivities
• “leaky gut”-type inflammation
• nausea or appetite changes
• anxiety linked to gut health
This testing can help us assess beneficial bacteria, methane-producing organisms, microbial imbalance, inflammation markers, digestive enzyme function and nervous-system influences on the gut.
It provides a clearer picture — so we’re not just chasing symptoms, but working with the true underlying patterns.
Together we decide what’s truly necessary.

Mini FAQ — Digestive Health
Do I need a diagnosis before booking?
No — many people come because they don’t yet have answers or may have been on the incorrect treatment for their digestive issues.
Do I have to follow a strict diet?
Generally, my approach to food is calm, supportive and practical — not rigid or restrictive.
However, during SIBO or microbiome treatment, a more structured dietary approach may sometimes be recommended for a short time (usually 3–4 months) to help settle symptoms and restore balance in the gut. This is always tailored to your lifestyle and comfort level, and you’re supported with menu ideas, recipes and ongoing guidance so it feels achievable rather than overwhelming.
Once your digestion begins to stabilise, we slowly widen your food choices again — so eating becomes relaxed, varied and enjoyable.
Can stress really affect digestion?
Yes — the gut and nervous system are closely connected, which is why I support both.
Do you work alongside medical care?
Absolutely. Integrated care is often the most supportive path.
